Revenue split
Every pull pays for its own replacement, plus 5% to the creator, 4% to buyback & burn and 1% to Hiku.
Pull revenue#
Every pull first pays for its own replacement: the average capsule plus its measured restock cost (fees and royalties). The rest is fixed and public, in shares of the average capsule: 5% to the creator, 4% to buyback & burn and 1% to Hiku.
- Restock
- The replacement cost, plus any surge, into the machine's pot.
- Buyback & burn
- 4% of the average capsule, plus every rounding remainder. Buys the token and burns it.
- Creator
- 5% of the average capsule, paid to the token's creator.
- Hiku
- 1% of the average capsule, to the treasury.
A 1.004 SOL pull on the example machine sends 0.917 SOL to restock, 0.044 SOL to the creator, 0.035 SOL to buyback & burn and 0.009 SOL to Hiku.
Trade fees#
Every trade pays the token's fee, 2–8%, 2% by default. 72% of it refills the token's machine, 8% goes to the Hiku treasury, and 20% is Meteora's protocol fee. Trade fees are never burned.
At the default 2%, 1,000 SOL of volume pays 20 SOL in fees: 14.4 SOL to the machine, 1.6 SOL to Hiku and 4 SOL to Meteora. The machine's share goes straight into its pot, and the keeper turns it into NFTs.
Target depth#
Each machine aims to hold about 7 days of pulls, never less than 8× its top floor. Below that target the keeper buys NFTs. At the target it pauses: new cash waits in the machine, and the keeper resumes once pulls bring it back below. Nothing is burned for depth.
target = max(7 × pulls per day,
8 × top floor)- Thin: while a machine holds less than 8× its top floor, the pull's burn share stays inside and restocks.
- At target: the keeper stops buying. The cash is kept, not burned, and restocks the machine as it drains.
Under heavy demand the target rises with it, so a busy machine keeps restocking.
What is burned#
One thing: 4% of the average capsule on every pull, plus rounding, which buys the token back and burns it. While a machine is thin, even that stays inside.
Trade fees, replacement money and cash waiting in a machine are never burned.
Why it holds#
- ReplacementEvery pull pays what it costs to buy its capsule back, so pulls alone keep the machine level. Trade fees are growth.
- Thin machines keep their burnWhile a machine can't yet afford to lose its top prize, the burn share stays inside.
- Target depthPast about 7 days of pulls the keeper pauses, so cash waits in the machine instead of piling up NFTs.
Pulling your own machine never pays. A pull returns at most 0.974 SOL per SOL, even to a creator who holds every token.
