Machines
A machine holds NFTs from 2 to 5 collections. Trading fees fill it; only pulls empty it.
How it fills#
72% of every trade fee and each pull's replacement money collect in the machine's pot. A keeper spends it on floor NFTs, which arrive in escrow and become drawable about 2 minutes later. It starts the moment the token launches, with no one to approve it.
Collections and tiers#
A creator picks 2 to 5 collections from the whitelist: the top 40 Solana NFT collections on OpenSea by floor price. There is no limit on how many NFTs a machine holds, per tier or in total.
One rule sets each collection's tier from its floor. The tier sets the capsule colour and the collection's share of the global mix. Odds come from value, never from the tier (see how odds work).
- Legendary5 collections, like SMB Gen2, Mad Lads, Whal3s
- 5 SOL and up
- Rare15 collections, like 1000X GEM, Galactic Geckos, SMB Gen3
- 1–5 SOL
- Common20 collections, like The Bullpen, Degenerate Drop Bears, Bodoggos
- 0.05–1 SOL
Value of an NFT#
All NFTs of a collection share one value, set by the market and capped by what the machine paid.
value = min(24h median floor,
average cost + 25%)One listing can't move the median, and the cap stops a pump from inflating it. Only active collections are drawn, priced and bought.
- Active
- Drawn, priced and restocked as normal.
- Price moving
- The latest floor is more than 20% from the median. Resumes by itself once it is back within 10%.
- Stale
- No floor sample for 2 hours. Resumes by itself with the next one.
- Paused
- Set by the admin for a rug, a delisting or frozen transfers.
A paused collection's NFTs stay in escrow and come back when it does.
One global mix#
Every machine steers toward the same value mix: equal shares of value for Common, Rare and Legendary. The keeper buys toward it, and the price and odds follow from it and the floors.
- Nobody picks it. There is no mix setting at launch and no per-token pricing knob.
- A tier the machine doesn't have is left out, and the others share its part.
- The admin can change only global parameters. A change applies to every machine at once, after a timelock.
Jars and the keeper#
The pot is shared out by a water-fill: the collection furthest below its share of value is topped up first.
- Each collection has a public jar, like “Mad Lads 6.2 / 11.93 SOL”. Once a jar covers one NFT, the keeper can buy it.
- No prize may exceed 20% of the machine. A Mad Lads NFT (11.36 SOL) unlocks once the machine holds 59.65 SOL.
- The plan never earmarks more than 20% of the machine at a time.
- The keeper only spends what is left below the target depth. At the target it pauses, and cash waits in the machine.
- The keeper pays at most 3% over the latest floor. It can skip a collection with no listing in range, but can't choose what to buy.
Escrow#
Bought NFTs go into an escrow account owned by the program. There is no withdraw instruction, for the admin or anyone else. The only way out is a pull.
Each NFT's purchase cost, with fees and royalties, is recorded on-chain. It caps the collection's value and tunes the restock cost.
Opening#
- Filling
- From launch until the machine holds 5 NFTs from at least 2 collections.
- Open
- Pulls are accepted. The machine joins the Global pack.
- Restocking
- Fewer than 5 NFTs are available. Opens again as the keeper restocks.
- Paused
- No collection is active, or the admin paused the machine.
- Maintenance
- Shortly before a scheduled upgrade. Settlement, claims and refunds keep running.
No state waits for a review.
